A band i "claimed" to love so much yet not knowing what she's doin behind her music.
Like not readin + prayin to God aka getting to know Him
yet we still go to church pressing our vocals out
and we call it "worship"

putting on a christian suit/costume,
shakin off discomforts of all the mistakes we made the past week
by just chilling with a piece of chip and a cup of wine.
It could go on and on...

Im gonna show u guys a video before listening what she,
Lacey Mosley,
as vocalist
has to say about her life with her music.
Coz basically, without watchin this video first,
it wouldn't have stirred me up to hear more of what she had to say.

She's telling of a testimony shared by a woman she met in one of her tour.

I had a meeting with an old friend, Sandra.
Did some catching up over lunch.
Late lunch.

No idea, coz it was 3 in the evening.

We had alot to talked about...
like mad cows whipped on their arses
we talked and talked and.. talked.
Basically our mouth did everything
besides the part when i scratched my itching butt.

New Babies

Bought them from an old indian lady
this afternoon
just right before kl central.

Rumah Faith 2008

Speeding with my kelisa,
back home. its 4.30pm.
supposed to be home already getting all the instruments
dismantled and set aside
to be taken awAy~

to a place in Broga
[ somewhere i don't know where ]
basically, its a visitation to this orphanage/old folks home,
Rumah Faith.

Inside the car, packed & crowded
with instruments and appliances...
Uncle Lingam helped out with the drum set,
with Ben along in his car ;
Aunt Jessica, Ming Sang in mine,
set off around 5.30pm
to Rumah Faith.

Yea so,
arrived, greeted people..
some kids as well.
Then set up our stuff on the platform.
Kids were real helpful there.
They don't look one bit pathetic at all.
[ unlike how i've always seen
orphanages and the unfortunate ones on tv
with long faces and torn rags on them, so praise God ]

I simply have no idea what time these people arrived
and when these kids took their seats
coz i was occupied with
dealing with the sound check for my guitar,
which wasn't workin at all.

Haha. So my Mom was already 'on duty' la.
taking pictures, enjoying her time with candid shots i guess.

So here're the youngest of the boys placing themselves at the front, some sorta 'VIP' feeling they get i guess.

The girls...(Like panel judges before the platform)
caused me my first drip of sweat when i took a glance at them XD

As one of the uncle, as host,
announced a few things
and we were set to go.
Worship team tonight consisted of Deborah (keyboard),
Ben (drums)
Samantha K and myself (Vocalist)

Holding onto the mic,
with my guitar around my shoulders...
Made a few strums
Plucking through the strings
bringing in the atmosphere and inviting God's presence...
"God is good,
All the time..."
We started it off slow on one chorus,
then Ben hits in after it
and that was how worship was brought alive that night.

After our first song,
I was giving a few words when i felt...

A soft nudge on my shoulder,
I saw Deborah walked past my back to my side next to Sam,
She said the keyboard wasnt working.
God knows how fast my heart raced that very moment.
I stepped on my pedal for distortion,
thinkin that i'll juz start off loud with it
but it turned out that it was even softer than before.
So yea, panic la!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA


(as u can see the crowd was carried away...)


I was glancing around,
Sorta like a pussy close to tears
( like HELL no, no way~)
Hahaha!
So i turned to Ben,
Instead of a defeat sight,
I saw confidence in his eyes n posture...

"You are the way !

HAHAHA!
Sung off without music,
leading whole congregation
clapping their hands,
With Sam assisting with the singing and the audience,
Ben supporting the atmostphere with his drum beats...
God was there.
HUHU!

The lastly, Deborah led a children song
it goes like
" with Christ in the vessel
we can smile at the storm
smile at the storm
smile at the storm..."

She was good...
And i mean, reAL gOOD.
With dealing with the audience of kids~
HAHA.

Notice this boy, he just LOvess the camera!

She goes like " What the hell are those people doing" XD
Seemed ready to toss her sandals on our faces! HAHA!

The youth seems 'alive'.... HAHAHA

I couldnt recall the number of times they requested us to take pictures of them! XD

Towards the end of programs,
Uncle C.S and Aunt Jessica was invited
to the front to give short speeches
as it was their 22nd Anniversary
celebrated along earlier with it was
Aunt Jessica's birthday too
supposedly it falls on the 17th.

It was impossible not to sit up straight whenever Uncle C.S has a mic in his hands.
" You go, preacha!"
Aunt J's expression goes like " Here he goes again.."
HAHA!

Aunt J :"Hmm, when's he gonna end..."

Aunt J :"Finally! The light's on me. Huhu." XD

All was done,
I went to mingle with a few kids.
Then kids started forming a long queue which drew my attention.
Not certain of what they were lining up for...

Until i reached the front of the line,
Yea...
Cakes...
Like heaven on earth for the children. Hehe.

I couldn't recall her name,
She lives with the kids there.
She's just always smiling.
Happy to have people around her.
Being there hasnt retard her from living life
so joyfully.
God is good.
